The problem

24 years operating award-winning food businesses as the sole owner.

I know what it's like to have to make all of the decisions. Resources are scarce, and the market moves fast. Keeping up doesn't have to be a battle.

You're the owner. Also the scheduler, the bookkeeper, the inventory count, the order desk, the HR department, and the person who picks up when the walk-in dies on a Saturday.

Every new wholesale account, every good month, every bit of growth lands on the same two hands. The business that was supposed to give you freedom is holding you hostage.

The idea is fine. You're out of resources, and that compounds quietly until it's the whole problem.

How it works

Find the friction, then fix it for good.

First

Audit

I find the friction: where your hours, your money, and your margin are actually going.

  • Where sales and marketing are leaking leads and money
  • Which of your apps create more work than they save
  • Where you're the bottleneck
  • What breaks if you take a week off
Then

Fix and automate

I build the systems, spreadsheets, and automations that take those jobs off your plate for good.

  • Sales follow-up and marketing that run on a schedule
  • Email, social, and wholesale outreach systems
  • Ordering, inventory, and par sheets
  • Food safety logs and labels
  • SOPs your team can actually follow
After

Keep it running

Ongoing support and marketing so the fix doesn't quietly unravel six months later.

  • Regular check-ins on the numbers
  • Marketing support as you grow
  • Marketing built on the tools you already pay for, with no added agency or software bill

Restaurants and cafes

For the owner stuck between front of house and back of house. Scheduling, food cost, and the systems that let you leave on a Saturday.

Food and beverage brands

Wholesale, retail, and the jump from a few stores to a few thousand shelves. Sales and marketing that keep up with the orders.

Manufacturers

Turning a kitchen into a production space, with food safety that passes an SQF audit and doesn't need you on the line.

Reduce app drag

Every app should solve a problem, not create more work.

Keeping up shouldn't mean adding another login. I look at the apps you already use and keep only the ones that earn their place.

Does it solve a problem?

Name the job the app is supposed to do, then check that it actually does it.

Or does it create work?

Double entry, extra logins, and chores you do just to keep the app happy all count as drag.

Keep, connect, or cut

Keep what works. Connect apps so you stop copying things between them. Cut the rest, and the monthly bill with it.

Rules first, AI second

A best guess is great for a caption. It's terrifying for an allergen label.

Needs the same answer every time

Rules and automations

Jobs where a wrong answer costs money or hurts someone get deterministic systems that do the same thing the same way, every time.

  • Lead and wholesale follow-up
  • Email and promo schedules
  • Pricing and food cost
  • Allergen labels
  • Temp logs and par sheets
Needs a good first draft

AI

Jobs where a solid first draft saves you an hour get AI. It gives you its best guess, and you approve it.

  • Social captions and email drafts
  • Ad copy and promo ideas
  • Replies to catering and wholesale inquiries
  • Outreach drafts for new accounts
  • Sorting the inbox

Most "AI for your business" pitches skip that difference. I don't. AI doesn't get to guess whether there's peanut in the cookie.

About Doron

I've hit the wall. Twice.

24 yrsoperating award-winning food businesses as the sole owner
200 → 3,000retail shelves nationwide in under 18 months

I've spent 24 years operating allergen-friendly food businesses as the sole owner: retail, production, restaurants, and CPG. This year I closed one and started winding down the other. Both ideas worked. I ran out of people and systems first.

Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats opened in DC in 2002 and ran for 24 years. Along the way I competed and won the Food Network's Cupcake Wars twice, opened an all-vegan diner, wrote a cookbook for Penguin Random House, and built an SQF-certified facility for the packaged brand, Baked by Sticky.

I took Baked by Sticky from 200 retail shelves to 3,000 in under 18 months. Great news. Also terrifying. The growth outran the people and systems it took to keep up, and I chose to wind it down instead of borrowing my way past a wall I couldn't see over.

Small business has a low barrier to entry and a high barrier to success. That second barrier is resources, and it's where most owners get stuck. Arrow Flame exists so you get past it.

The 85% rule

Nobody is ever 100% ready. If you're at 85%, you go.

The resource check

Name the time, people, and money it takes before you say yes. Then check you actually have them.

The off-ramp test

Ask how hard it is to stop before you start. I'd rather you stay solvent than stay impressive.

The offer

Three steps, in this order. The first one decides the rest.

We start with a conversation about what's actually costing you. What you need next comes from that, not from a menu.

1

Audit

I find where your hours, money, and margin are going and what it costs you to leave it alone.

  • You leave with a ranked list of fixes
2

Fix and automate

I build the sales, marketing, and operations systems that take the biggest problems off your plate, starting with the one costing you most.

  • Scoped from the audit, nothing generic
3

Keep it running

Check-ins and marketing support so the fix holds. Marketing runs on the accounts and apps you already have, so it doesn't add a new bill.

  • Only if you want it
